How long does it take to perform a ceramic coating service?

We have a multi-step wash, clay bar treatment, paint correction/paint polishing, surface prep, and final walk-through of your vehicle to ensure it is prepped for the ceramic coating. After we have prepped and decontaminated your vehicle, it is ready for the ceramic coating.

Depending on the warranty you choose, we will hand-apply the ceramic coating to your vehicle in up to four layers. The process can take up to 24 hours and provides you with up to seven years of warranty for your paint.

What should I do to prepare for my ceramic coating service?

Clean and Neat Auto Recon will provide everything to complete a thorough ceramic coating service. We have all the proper tools and equipment for you already. We just need access to your vehicle.

Are your services mobile?

Yes. At Clean and Neat Auto Recon, we do offer mobile ceramic paint coating services but recommend processing the ceramic coating at our shaded shop in Mesa, AZ. We can do it from the comfort of your own home as long as you have a garage. Our mobile ceramic coating techs are fully equipped and will handle everything else for you.

How long does ceramic coating last on my car?

This will depend on the type of coating and the environment in which the car is driven and stored. It also depends on how well the coating on the car is maintained. For instance, our ceramic paint coating product forms a highly durable bond with the paintwork which can last a number of years on a well-maintained car.

How do I keep my car clean in the meantime?

A careful and regular washing regime is truly important to maintain the effectiveness of the ceramic paint coating. We do not recommend the $3 self-service drive-through car washes as they can scratch the ceramic and/or paint. Handwashing is the best option. Please ask us about our scheduled maintenance packages.

Is ceramic coating permanent?

No. Ceramic coating lifetime varies from product to product. It also varies based on whether it was applied correctly. According to Auto Trader, most ceramic coatings provide exceptional durability and may last for two to five years or longer. We offer warranties of up to seven years, depending on the service level you choose. Note that temperature, exposure to the sun, and washing techniques are all variables that help the decaying process of ceramic coating. Also, the longevity of the ceramic coating is influenced by the environment, the usage of the coated vehicle, and how well it is maintained.
